Acrylic Photo Frame Type Considerations

Material purity: Prefer products that use imported acrylic (PMMA) or clearly label the purity of raw materials to ensure high light transmittance (up to more than 92%) and not easy to yellow
Thickness and weight: Thickness affects price and stability, often 3–10mm. The cost of a 1cm thick plate is about 40% higher than that of 0.5cm, and thicker frames are more stable, but they also weigh more, so they need to be selected according to the placement position
Process details: Check whether the edges are finely polished to avoid burrs; Whether the magnetic structure is firm and whether the laser engraving is clear
Customization requirements: If you need to customize the LOGO, shape or layered three-dimensional effect, confirm that the manufacturer supports ODM/OEM services, and understand the production cycle (regular order 7–15 working days).
Precautions for use and maintenance
Avoid high temperatures and sun exposure: Long-term exposure to direct sunlight or high temperatures (such as windows, heaters) may cause acrylic to age, discolor, or deform. It is recommended to place it indoors in a cool place
Cleaning method: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth, can be combined with a neutral detergent Never use laundry detergent, strong acid and alkali solutions, or ammonia-containing cleaners to avoid corroding the anti-fingerprint coating on the surface
Anti-static treatment: If used for electronic equipment display or dry environment, you can choose anti-static acrylic with surface coating (such as tin oxide nano-coating) or graphene modification, and the surface resistance can be stabilized at 10⁷–10⁹Ω to reduce dust adsorption
Handling and placement: avoid frequent movement to prevent collisions or scratches. Make sure the base is stable when placing it, and while the frameless design is beautiful, you need to pay attention to the center of gravity to prevent tipping
Special type tips
Magnetic photo frames: Commonly used in square or special-shaped designs, the strong magnetic structure is convenient for changing photos, but it needs to be kept away from magnetic sensitive items such as credit cards and electronic devices
Crystal photo frames: Most of the "crystal photo frames" on the market are made of acrylic material, and the purchase pays attention to the cutting process and gloss, rather than real crystal
