Cast molding: Liquid methyl methacrylate (MMA) monomer, after adding initiators and crosslinking agents, is poured into a mold and polymerized at a controlled temperature to finally solidify into a plate or a billet of a specific shape. The plates produced by this method have high transparency and low internal stress, making them suitable for making large, thick handicrafts
Extrusion: The solid PMMA particles are heated and melted, and continuously calendered into plates or profiles through a screw extruder. This method is highly efficient, has uniform plate thickness, and good machinability, but its transparency and weather resistance are slightly inferior to cast plates
Injection molding: After melting PMMA particles, they are injected into precision molds under high pressure, and after cooling, three-dimensional handicrafts with complex shapes are obtained, such as small ornaments, jewelry boxes, etc
Blister molding: The acrylic sheet is heated to a softening temperature, and then the plate is adsorbed on the surface of the mold using a vacuum pump, and after cooling, it forms a concave or convex three-dimensional structure, which is often used to make door panels, decorative parts, display racks, etc
